Vittoria Ceretti suffered a major wardrobe malfunction while attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s final wedding bash with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio.
On Saturday, June 28, the Italian model, 27, wore a vintage silver Dolce & Gabbana gown to the couple’s pajama-themed party in Venice, Italy — coincidentally, the same dress that DiCaprio’s ex Gisele Bündchen wore to the Met Gala in 2003.
However, things seemingly didn’t go exactly to plan: Ceretti shared a photo of a small tear in the dress on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 29, along with the words, “how it started.”

She then shared a second photo that showed a significantly larger tear in the garment, exposing a sizable portion of her legs, along with the words, “how it’s going.”

Ceretti was spotted in the gown while leaving the Gritti Palace hotel on Saturday, after previously being seen in an array of chic wedding guest looks.

The gown appeared to have been slightly altered from when Bündchen, 44, wore it to the Met Gala more than 20 years ago. Most notably, the sparkling embellishments that run along the front of the gown appeared more frayed and worn.

DiCaprio, 50, and Bündchen dated on and off from 2000 to 2005 before splitting amicably. In a 2009 interview with Vanity Fair, the model called the Titanic star a “wonderful person,” but noted that they weren’t meant to be together.
She added: “We know what we had; we were very young, and we grew together in a lot of ways. We were just not meant to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but I respect him enormously, and I wish him nothing but the best.”
Ceretti and DiCaprio, 50, have been dating since 2023 and were first spotted together in Santa Barbara, Calif., that same year.
“She is very cute, sweet and charming. Leo seems to really like her,” a source told PEOPLE in April 2024.
Ceretti has graced the covers of numerous international magazines and appeared in ad campaigns for fashion brands including Prada, Bulgari and Gucci.
The model also posed for the April 2025 cover of Vogue France, telling the magazine that dating someone as famous as DiCaprio is “something you learn.”
“If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed,” she said. “Because love protects and gives confidence.”
