Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s Head of HR, Kristin Cabot, were spotted together at a Coldplay concert in Boston – and a clip of the ‘kiss cam’ moment went viral online
The woman who was caught at a Coldplay concert with her boss bragged in her LinkedIn bio that she knows how to win the trust of employees at all levels, including CEOs.
Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s Head of HR, Kristin Cabot, were left red-faced as they flashed up on a big screen in front of thousands of people at the band’s gig in Boston, Massachusetts.
The pair were caught on the “kiss cam” at the concert, with Andy’s arms draped around Kristin – but as footage of them was seen on screens all around the arena, the tech boss quickly moved out of sight, while his colleague turned around and covered her face.
The crowd could be heard laughing at the moment, which appeared to expose an alleged affair between the pair – Andy is married, while Kristin is divorced. As the camera pointed at them, singer Chris Martin said, “Oh, look at these two … Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” A clip of the “kiss cam” went viral on social media, where users have speculated about the circumstances of the incident, and started digging for details about the pair.
After searching for both Andy and Kristin online, online sleuths uncovered the woman’s LinkedIn bio in which she wrote, “I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants.” On the platform, used for professional networking and career development, she also praised the CEO’s vision, writing in a post, “I have been energised in my conversations with Andy Byron and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here.”

The CEO reciprocated the appreciation and described Kristin as “a perfect fit for Astronomer” in a press release. He also praised the HR boss for her “exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management.”
Currently, the LinkedIn posts and the pair’s accounts appear to have been taken down. While the alleged affair has not been confirmed, it appears that Andy’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, is making her stance on the rumors clear.

According to Men’s Journal, her Facebook page has since been deleted, but prior to that time, it saw her only using her maiden name, and not Byron. While the use of only one name isn’t necessarily a sign of a split, it has added to the speculation about the alleged affair.
The drama erupted during the July 16 Coldplay concert at the Gilette Stadium in Foxborough. When the kiss cam, which was meant to bring more lighthearted moments to the concert, landed on the couple, who were swaying in a romantic hug, their reaction went viral. Neither Byron nor Cabot has spoken out publicly about the alleged affair.
