Over the weekend, newly declassified documents made public by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revealed that Barack Obama was informed in December 2016 that the allegations of Trump-Russia collusion were baseless.
This information was part of a presidential intelligence briefing that occurred before Trump assumed office.

This revelation follows CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s disclosure of findings from a new CIA report that outlines coordinated efforts by former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to manipulate intelligence related to the 2016 election.
The report claims that these three officials were aware that the Steele Dossier was unverified, yet they still utilized it to justify surveillance and public assertions regarding Trump’s supposed connections to Russia.
The dossier, which was financed by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign, has since been discredited, with multiple investigations concluding that there was no evidence to support the initial claims of collusion.
Additionally, the newly released report confirmed that there was no foreign interference in the outcome of the 2016 election.
“We assess that foreign adversaries did not employ cyber attacks on election infrastructure to change the outcome of the US Presidential election this year. We have no evidence of cyber manipulation of election infrastructure aimed at altering results,” the report stated.
This information implies that officials from the Obama administration—including Obama himself, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice—were aware that the allegations of Russian interference to bolster Trump were false, yet they propagated these claims through media channels.
Tulsi Gabbard, currently serving as the Director of National Intelligence, has called for criminal accountability.
She confirmed that she forwarded the declassified documents to the Department of Justice for their examination.
“These documents outline a treasonous conspiracy involving officials at the highest echelons of the Obama White House, aimed at undermining the will of the American populace and attempting to prevent the President from executing his mandate,” Gabbard stated.
Later on Saturday, Gabbard made an appearance on Fox News, reiterating her demand for prosecutions.
White House spokesperson Harrison Fields also appeared on Fox News, explicitly naming Obama as the individual responsible for initiating and perpetuating the false narrative.
“Obama is implicated in this, and what is he doing now? He is over here with his wife, hosting a podcast, strolling on the beach in flip-flops, acting as if his entire career was significant and commendable! It was not! It was the most corrupt presidency we have ever witnessed! We thought Joe Biden was problematic. Now we understand who was behind it all. It was Barack Hussein Obama, and we require answers,” Fields remarked.
President Trump reacted to these developments on Truth Social, commending Fields and the Fox News panel for publicly addressing the matter and reaffirming his support for prosecutions.
“Excellent work by the young and talented Harrison Fields on Fox News. The panel was outstanding in advocating for the prosecution of Obama and the ‘thugs’ who have been unequivocally exposed for the highest level of election fraud. Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!” Trump stated.
As the investigation progresses and further documents are anticipated to be reviewed by the Justice Department, the demand for accountability regarding the origins and management of the Russia investigation is once again taking center stage.
