Andy Byron, the married CEO of the New York-based software company Astronomer, gained notoriety on the internet on Thursday after being seen in a cozy interaction with the company’s chief human resources officer, Kristin Cabot, on the jumbotron at Gillette Stadium.
This incident ignited discussions among his former colleagues, with many asserting that Byron received his deserved comeuppance, according to a source who previously reported directly to him.

“The text groups and chains of former employees are buzzing…everyone’s laughing their heads off and thoroughly enjoying what transpired and his exposure,” the source remarked.
Astronomer and Byron have not yet responded to The Post’s inquiries regarding the incident.

As the “kiss cam” scanned the audience, Byron had his arms wrapped around Cabot’s waist, and the two were holding hands. Upon realizing they were being filmed, Cabot shielded her face and turned away, while Byron attempted to duck out of sight.
Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin initially believed he had stumbled upon a heartfelt moment in the audience, but soon recognized that something was off.

“Either they are involved in an affair or they are simply very reserved,” Martin remarked.
“Goodness. I hope we did not do anything wrong,” he further expressed, as per additional footage recorded immediately afterward.
Byron seems to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot has recently ended her marriage to Kenneth Thornby.
Cabot and Thornby initiated divorce proceedings in 2018, and the divorce was finalized in 2022, as indicated by court records from Massachusetts. It remains uncertain whether she has remarried since then.
