“I just spoke with President Trump!!” Greene posted on X, adding, “I informed him about my new bill that I am introducing, which aims to protect America’s elections from ever being compromised again! My legislation will mandate the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a new census immediately upon the bill’s enactment. In carrying out the new census of the U.S. population, it will necessitate questions that ascertain the citizenship status of each individual, counting only U.S. citizens.”
“Once the census is completed, the bill will instruct states to promptly initiate the redistricting process for all U.S. House seats, utilizing solely the population of United States citizens,” she further elaborated.
“Thank you, President Trump, for your robust support of my bill, Making American Elections Great Again!!! Let’s accomplish this!!!” she concluded.

The upcoming U.S. census is not scheduled until 2030, with redistricting expected to commence in 2031.
In May 2024, the House approved a similar bill aimed at excluding non-citizens from the census count, but the initiative stalled in the then-Democratic-controlled Senate. Historically, courts have interpreted the U.S. Constitution to include non-citizens in apportionment, stemming from the contentious compromise between the North and South that counted enslaved individuals as “three-fifths” of a person.
Following the Civil War and the ratification of the 14th Amendment, the Constitution was revised to mandate counting the “whole number of persons in each state.”
Rep. James Comer (R-KY) endorsed the bill, asserting that Republicans believe it will result in acquiring additional seats for their party.
“Certain states gain greater representation in Congress due to a higher concentration of noncitizens,” Comer remarked at the time. “This undermines the ‘one person, one vote’ principle for citizens.
On Monday, the House, which is under GOP control, approved a measure despite the disapproval of most Democrats, mandating the federal government to deport any illegal immigrant who assaults a police officer.
The legislation was passed with a vote tally of 265 to 148, with 54 Democrats joining forces with Republicans. This bill is known as the Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act, authored by Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J.
Rep. Van Drew stated, “There is no justification for an illegal alien who attacks our law enforcement to remain in our country; such actions demonstrate a complete disregard for our rule of law and institutions, and they will not contribute positively to society.”
The bill requires federal authorities to detain illegal immigrants until their deportation. Additionally, it creates a new category of inadmissibility for migrants, specifically aimed at illegal immigrants accused of assaulting police officers, as noted by Van Drew.
Following the bill’s passage, Rep. Tom Emmer, the House Majority Whip and the third-ranking Republican, remarked, “House Democrats have chosen to protect violent illegal immigrants over our courageous law enforcement officers. Once again, the Democrat Party demonstrates that they are the most anti-law enforcement party in history.”
In a related development, a surprising new poll from CNN indicates that the Democratic Party is significantly trailing the Republicans on economic issues, which seemed to astonish CNN data analyst Harry Enten.
After months of Democrats and their media allies attempting to instill fear in Americans regarding Trump’s tariff proposals, the data analyst expressed his surprise at the ineffectiveness of their messaging.
Enten commented, “You would expect that after all the turmoil, Kate Bolduan, during the initial months of Donald Trump’s presidency, that Democrats would have a substantial lead on economic matters. However, that is not the case. That is not the case.”
