In addition to Sunny Hostin, the other hosts of The View have also been quite outspoken in their support for Trump’s political rival, Kamala Harris.
During the election season, they labeled Trump as “psychotic” and deliberated on his “levels of depravity” with their guests.
“I believe that in 2016, we were uncertain about what a Trump administration would entail, but we are aware now. We understand that we will have nearly unrestricted power,” Hostin remarked on the program.

After Trump’s victory, Sunny Hostin followed through on her promise to delete her X account, expressing her desire to distance herself from Elon Musk, who has now officially become a “special government employee” in the U.S. government, specifically as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“I will not purchase a Tesla, nor will I invest in Tesla stock,” she stated.
She further mentioned that she used to enjoy Twitter, but once Musk took control, he ruined the platform.
“Twitter was a hellscape prior to Elon Musk’s involvement, and then he rebranded it as X, which was foolish,” she remarked according to Decider, adding, “Nobody refers to it as X!”
Recently, several media outlets reported that Sunny Hostin referred to Musk as “b*d” on The View. The article also noted that another host, Joy Behar, extended an apology to the tech entrepreneur, asserting that Hostin’s views did not represent those of The View.
Nevertheless, the allegations regarding Hostin having insulted Musk live on television by calling him “b*d” have been proven false.
Not only did no credible media outlet report this news, but there are also no videos to substantiate the claim.
